After earning her BS in Business Administration from State University of NY at Oswego, Alissa worked for nearly 10 years in retail banking, holding leadership positions in branch management and small business lending. As part of the EFA compliance team, she reviews incoming business and provides support to EFA’s financial professionals to understand and execute policies and procedures. She appreciates when she and financial professionals can work together through complex scenarios. She holds her Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses, as well as life/accident/health insurance.
Outside of work, Alissa enjoys cooking, traveling, and staying active in the outdoors, taking on bigger challenges by training for several half-marathons throughout the year. Spending time with family and friends is also important to her, which includes quality time with her dog, Walter. Community involvement and volunteer work remain priorities; Alissa currently sits on the Board of Directors for Rochester Women’s Network as VP of the organization’s Programs Committee, and she is also involved with the Office of Mission Advancement for the SSJ of Rochester.
